New Lingokids Feature Proves 90% Effective in Improving Children’s Skill Learning Abilities

New ‘Lessons’ feature combines structured education with Lingokids’ signature Playlearning™ methodology, proving highly effective in early skill development

Los Angeles, CA; Oct 10, 2024.- Lingokids, the #1 early learning app for kids, today announced the launch of “Lessons,” a new section within its app designed to provide a guided learning experience across various subjects. Lessons offers the most structured and educational journey within the Lingokids ecosystem to date, while maintaining the company’s signature Playlearning™ methodology, helping kids learn while they are having fun.

Key Features of Lessons

Lessons currently cover three main subjects: Literacy, Math, and English Language Learning organized by levels including Preschool Readiness, Kindergarten Readiness, and 1st Grade Readiness. Each Lesson guides children through a complete learning cycle, starting with a diagnostic assessment, followed by 8-10 engaging units of videos and games, and concluding with a revision unit and summative assessment to measure progress.

Lessons offer self-paced learning, allowing children to complete each lesson over 1-2 weeks across multiple sessions, adapting to their individual schedules and learning speeds. The feature provides a 100% ad-free and safe environment, enabling children to explore and learn independently. Lessons are created and backed by top expert educators and align with both US Curriculum standards and the CEFR framework.

In tests of ‘Lessons,’ with kids around the world:

  • 90% of children who complete a Lesson show skill improvement when comparing their initial and final assessments
  • Active and continued engagement with Lessons has been very strong, demonstrating their effectiveness in capturing and maintaining children’s interest

“By seamlessly blending structured learning with our Playlearning™ approach, we’ve created a powerful tool that not only educates, but truly engages children. The 90% skill improvement rate we’re seeing is a testament to the effectiveness of this method. Lessons aren’t just about teaching; they’re about inspiring a love for learning that will serve children throughout their lives,” said Rhona Dick, Head of Education at Lingokids.”
