But here’s the surprising part: nearly two-thirds (66%) are using that time for educational apps! That’s right, parents are ditching mindless YouTube binges and embracing tech for learning.

Our study shows that over half of parents (61%) use educational apps to combat the summer slide, keeping those young minds sharp with engaging activities.

But screen time safety is a top concern, right? We hear you! The study found that over half of parents worry about content on YouTube.

We found that 41% of parents use tech to teach healthy habits, and 30% for setting bedtime routines.

Plus, let’s be honest, a little educational screen time can be a lifesaver for parents who need to get some work done. Nearly 70% of parents agreed that their child’s tech use allows them to focus on tasks – a win-win for everyone.

The bottom line? Parents are embracing technology as a valuable parenting tool. Almost half don’t feel judged anymore when their kids use devices for learning.
