Kids 8 and under spend about 2.5 hours a day on screens. Parents want that time to be good for them. Kids just want it to be fun. Lingokids is built to do both. Source ›
When kids ask for more Lingokids, parents say yes.
Five things you get every time your kid opens the app, from the first tap to bedtime.
No ads ever, no pop-ups, no open chat. Purchases sit behind a parent gate, so nothing reaches your kid that you didn’t say yes to.

Our in-house child development experts craft every activity, and it adapts to your kid’s age, favorite subjects and characters.

Our campaign with real parents, a judge and child experts.
All rise. This court is now in session. The Honorable Barbara Wilson presiding. Let’s begin. The People versus Brummond. The People versus Slemons. The People versus Leonard. The People versus Crowell. Good morning. Have any idea why you’re here? Eh, no. No. Parenting today can be very challenging, and I’m sure you’ll agree. For sure. Many of you feel judged and guilty, especially when it comes to technology. My duty today will be to determine whether you are guilty or not guilty. So the first thing I’d like to know is: How do you consider yourself as parents? Are you good parents? I think we’re pretty decent parents. Well, there’s always things you can do better. Be a good mom, and have a career, and make sure you cook dinner. Get ready, get up, brush his teeth, get dressed, have breakfast. It can get overwhelming. There are some days you just need a quick help. You know, even if it’s a 20-minute break. I just need like 20 minutes of silence. The tablet comes in handy sometimes. Now talk to me about screen time. We use it, and we also try to limit it. We don’t have babysitters, so it’s a quick solution. There’s a little bit of guilt with that. Yeah, I think there’s definitely some mom guilt. How does that guilt feel? The guilt hurts. Guilt hurts? It hurts. You need that time, and you’re putting your time above what’s maybe better for your own child. We’re not even aware of really what’s out there, so that’s kind of scary. I wish there was something better, but I don’t know what that solution is yet. It looks and feels like I’m a bad parent. That’s a lot. So we’re at that point where I just really need to know: How does the defendant plead? Guilty. Yeah… guilty. I do plead guilty, because I let them have the devices. Thank you for your honesty. But this wouldn’t be a real trial if we didn’t hear from the defense. Bailiff, call the defense. Hi, mom! Oh my Gosh! What’s your name, sweetheart? Dash. I’m Julian. She’s Savannah. How old are you? Three. Six. Talk to me about your device. I think I may have three. Three? Do you think your parents give you enough time on your tablets, or would you like more time? They give me enough time. Most of the time it’s like 30 minutes. What time do you put that tablet down and have dinner? I don’t know. They do. What’s mom like? She’s always happy, funny, kind, a little bit weird... I love how supportive they are. You mean a lot to me, even more than I mean to you. I love mommy because she gives me hugs. Mom! I see you. They’re everything. Can you imagine your life without them? No. I can’t imagine a minute without him. Without them, I don’t think I would feel like anything. They are my world. Alright, I gave this a lot of thought. And I find you... I find you guilty. Guilty of putting too much pressure on yourselves. Guilty of feeling guilty. And that just needs to stop. Because somehow, even when you’re giving it your best, you still feel like it’s not enough. Look at them. They’re healthy, they’re happy, and they adore you. They don’t need perfect parents. They need you. And yes, you’re concerned about technology. As you should be. But technology is not the enemy. It’s how we use it that really matters. So here’s the deal: Keep loving them. Keep being thoughtful about technology. But get rid of that guilt. And I’ll drop the charges. We have a deal? Yes. Should we let mom go? Okay. The charges are dismissed. Be proud of yourselves. As they certainly are.
